Driver Assignment Safeguarding Statement
Whist working on an assignment through Rapidstart Recruitment Services, Safeguarding vulnerable Adults and all Children is the responsibility of each and every individual. Our policy is to provide and maintain health and safety in the work place and to protect the interests of the general public. All drivers have a duty of care and responsibility to themselves, co-workers and the general public. All Drivers supplied on a temporary basis are subject to the Safeguarding policy of the client they are working for.
• They must familiarise themselves with a client’s Safeguarding requirements prior to carrying out any work on their assignment.
• Conform to the client’s Safeguarding policy at all times.
• Report any concerns in relation to safeguarding in regards to Adults or Children to the client and Rapidstart Recruitment without delay
• Report any known safeguarding issues that could affect the safety of vulnerable Adults or Children, and also impact themselves or others
• Report to the police immediately any Safeguarding issue where there is immediate risk of harm to any adult or child that they come into contact with.
• Report all immediate issues to the appropriate person within the client’s company and governing body and ensure that all necessary individuals are made aware.
• Assist with any investigation or concern raised to all parties involved in protecting and safeguarding the individual in question.
