Today is International Day of Charity, a day to celebrate giving, kindness, and the people and organisations making a difference in our communities. At Rapid Start, a leading recruitment agency in transport and petrochemical logistics, giving back has always been at the heart of what we do.
Over the years, we’ve proudly supported charities such as the Salvation Army, St. Lukes and Cheshire Dogs Home, helping causes that matter to our team and our wider community. Charity isn’t just about donations it’s about taking meaningful action, whether that’s through volunteering, fundraising, or simply offering support where it’s needed most.
In the fast-paced world of transport, petrochemical logistics, and supply chain operations, our people are our most important asset. Our drivers are on the road every day, navigating complex routes and ensuring goods reach their destinations safely and efficiently. And yet, mental health in logistics is often overlooked.
That’s why, alongside our charitable initiatives, we’re focusing on supporting the wellbeing of our drivers. We’ve run wellbeing campaigns in the past and are now introducing an open channel where drivers can talk with us for an hour each week a safe space to share, check in, and be heard. Because supporting people in logistics and transport is just as important as supporting communities through charity.
Charity and kindness start close to home. Whether it’s giving back to local communities, supporting animals, or focusing on mental health in the workplace, every small act counts. At Rapid Start, we’re committed to making a difference, in our industry, for our people, and for the communities we serve.
On this International Day of Charity, we want to say thank you, to the charities we support, the volunteers who dedicate their time, and to our drivers and teams in transport, petrochemical logistics, and supply chain operations who show dedication, care, and resilience every day.
Together, we can create a ripple effect of kindness, both on the roads and in our communities.
